The AI-based verification system is one of Notifier's most powerful features. This advanced filtering layer uses artificial intelligence to verify that matches found by your keyword filters are actually relevant to what you're looking for.
When AI verification is enabled, Notifier follows a two-step process:
The AI reviews the match details and your instructions to decide whether the content matches what you're actually searching for. Only content that passes both the keyword filter and AI verification will result in a billable match.
To configure AI verification, simply enter a clear description of what you're looking for in the prompt field. Start with something simple and straightforward.
For example, if you're looking for leads for a development shop, you might enter: "I am looking for people who need help with web development or software development projects."
After creating your searcher, review the AI verification results to see how well the system is performing. If you notice the AI is incorrectly accepting or rejecting certain types of content, you can refine your prompt with additional guidance.
For instance, if you're getting results from developers looking for jobs instead of people looking to hire developers, you could update your prompt to: "I am not looking for developers who are looking for jobs. Only find results that are actually people looking for dev work help."
AI verification uses a separate credit system from your regular match credits:
When AI Approves a Match: You are charged both a match credit and an AI verification credit When AI Rejects a Match: You are only charged an AI verification credit (no match credit)
Currently, one AI verification costs one credit and uses the GPT-4o Mini model. In the future, multiple AI models will be available at different price points, allowing you to choose between faster, cheaper options and more sophisticated, expensive models based on your needs.
When AI verification is enabled, your dashboard provides enhanced information about each match, including AI summaries and verification status.
Each verified match includes an AI-generated summary that explains why the content is relevant to your search. For example: "The user has a travel agency and is seeking a developer to create a bot for scheduling appointments for clients."
You can also view matches that were rejected by the AI verification system. These results are archived by default but can be accessed by changing the archive status filter to "archived only."
Rejected matches include explanations for why they were filtered out. For example: "This post is about making friends and socializing, not about seeking web development help or hiring developers."
Reviewing rejected matches helps you understand how well your verification prompt is working and whether any adjustments are needed to improve accuracy.
Start with simple, clear prompts and iterate based on results. The AI verification system learns from your specific instructions, so the more precise you can be about what you want and don't want, the better your results will be.
This powerful feature significantly improves the quality of your notifications by ensuring that only truly relevant content reaches your attention, making your lead generation and monitoring efforts much more efficient.
